This Valentine’s Day, we’re celebrating a Holt Group love story that spans departments, time zones, and even continents. Meet Kaley Carbonaro, Training Support Supervisor with HOLT Group, and Jonathan Carbonaro, Rental Coordinator with HOLT Industrial Rentals. Though they work in different divisions, their shared connection to HOLT Group and to each other makes their story one worth sharing.
Kaley and Jonathan’s relationship began long before they worked under the same company umbrella. Introduced through Jonathan’s sister, who was Kaley’s college roommate, the two spent over a year getting to know each other through Skype while Jonathan was serving in the U.S. Air Force in England. In fact, Kaley met Jonathan’s entire family before ever meeting him in person. From the very beginning, she recalls thinking, “I’m probably going to marry him.”
Today, both Kaley and Jonathan bring that same sense of commitment into their professional roles. Kaley is known for her dedication and focus, often seeing projects through from start to finish. Jonathan’s role with HOLT Industrial Rentals comes with a different set of demands, including being on call to support customers, dispatch technicians, and coordinate logistics after hours. While their day-to-day responsibilities may differ, their mutual understanding of each other’s roles reflects the teamwork and respect that we embody at HOLT Group.
One of their favorite shared experiences within the company is attending HOLT Group Christmas parties. These moments allow them to spend time together while also connecting with colleagues across the organization.
When asked for advice for couples working within the same company, both emphasize appreciation and understanding. Being familiar with each other’s departments helps them better recognize the challenges and expectations that come with each role, even when those expectations look very different.
This Valentine’s Day, we’re proud to spotlight Kaley and Jonathan and celebrate the relationships and teamwork that are core to the HOLT Group culture.
